The Special Collections Department preserves and makes available
original research material in several distinctive categories:
Rare Books, Manuscripts, University Archives,
Oral History, and Local Documents. The department
also has a small collection of historical maps and administers
the University Art Collection.
We are open to researchers and to the public Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm.
The Mary & Harry L. Dalton Rare Book & Manuscript Reading
Room is on the 10th Floor of the J. Murrey Atkins Library.

UNC Charlotte Motor Sports Collection: Atkins Library at UNC Charlotte announces the establishment of its Motor Sports Collection to document the history of automobile racing in the Southeast.
